Ecommerce automation partners for Amazon + Shopify brands (2026)

Short answer

Firms whose own websites describe automation or integration work for both Amazon and Shopify include Anchor Group, Celigo, Ecomsellertool (which wrote this page), Folio3, Pipe17 and Shero Commerce. They differ in kind: NetSuite consultancies, integration platforms with services, an order operations platform, a Shopify agency and a custom-build agency. Pick by the job that crosses both channels, then compare written proposals.

  • This page lists six firms in alphabetical order, without a ranking; Ecomsellertool wrote it and is one of the six. Every firm was checked on its own website on October 9, 2026.
  • None of the six firms states a price for its services on the pages we checked; Celigo and Pipe17 describe how their platform pricing is calculated.
  • Celigo prices its platform on endpoints and flows, not per task or transaction; Pipe17 prices on order volume, connections, flows and sub-accounts (checked October 9, 2026).
  • Amazon's Service Provider Network has no software development or integration category, and Amazon says it does not endorse any listed provider (checked October 9, 2026).
  • Shopify's Partner Directory tiers partners as Select, Plus, Premier and Platinum, and puts custom apps and integrations under Development and troubleshooting (checked October 9, 2026).

Disclosure: Ecomsellertool wrote this page, and we are one of the six firms listed. The list is alphabetical and uses each firm's own public pages, checked October 9, 2026. There are no ratings and no ranking. We quote each firm's own words where we can, and "not stated" means we did not find it on the pages we checked, not that the firm does not offer it. We left out firms whose sites looked out of date or did not describe work on both Amazon and Shopify.

This page is for brands that sell on Amazon and on their own Shopify store and want someone to build or run the automations between them: one stock count, orders that ship from the right place, payouts that land in the books. If you are still deciding what kind of builder you need, read how to choose an ecommerce automation partner first; it scores proposals. If your job is Amazon-only software, see our list of Amazon SP-API development companies.

Which firms build automations for Amazon and Shopify brands?

Six firms, in alphabetical order. Each row uses that firm's own website, linked and dated. The "Channels" column lists only what each firm's own pages state.

Two things stand out. Four of the six firms work mainly through an ERP or an integration platform, so if you already run NetSuite, you have more choice. And none of the six states a price for its own services on the pages we checked, so you will compare written quotes, not price lists.

Which kind of firm fits your Amazon + Shopify job?

The firms above are not interchangeable. Name the job that crosses both channels, then talk to the kind of firm that has shipped it. The table below sorts common jobs by the kind of firm whose own pages describe that work. It is a starting point, not a verdict.

Your job across Amazon and ShopifyFirms whose pages describe this workAsk them
Amazon and Shopify orders, stock and settlements into NetSuiteAnchor Group, Celigo, Folio3, Shero Commerce"Which of our flows are standard in your connector, and which need custom work?"
Shopify orders shipped from FBA stock through Amazon MCFPipe17"Which system holds the stock count, and what happens when FBA runs low?"
One order flow across Amazon, Shopify and one or more 3PLs, without an ERPPipe17, Ecomsellertool"Where are routing rules written, and who can change them?"
A workflow with many exceptions, or systems no connector coversEcomsellertool, and the custom development teams at Anchor Group and Folio3"Show us how an exception reaches a person, with the evidence attached"
Profit and ad reporting across both channelsEcomsellertool; the settlement, fee and payout syncs from Celigo, Folio3 and Pipe17 feed the same numbers into an ERP"Which fees come from the API, and which do you have to calculate?"

Whichever firm you pick, settle two things in writing before the build. First, which system owns the stock count and the order record. Second, which tool owns each channel's listings. Shopify's Marketplace Connect setup guide warns that "It's important to have only one marketplace connector app connected to avoid data conflicts" (checked October 9, 2026). Our page for Shopify brands expanding to Amazon explains when that app alone is enough.

Where else can you find Amazon and Shopify automation builders?

Two directories are the obvious places to look, and both have limits worth knowing. Shopify's Partner Directory puts custom apps and systems integration under "Development and troubleshooting" and tiers partners as Select, Plus, Premier and Platinum, "based on multiple factors, including their history of experience and proven success on Shopify" (checked October 9, 2026). A tier tells you about Shopify work, not about Amazon.

Amazon's Service Provider Network lists categories such as account management, accounting, advertising optimization, cataloging and FBA preparation. When we checked on October 9, 2026, it had no software development or integration category, and it says "Amazon does not endorse any service provider or its services." Software that other sellers authorize is listed in the Selling Partner Appstore; Amazon's developer onboarding overview says public applications "require Amazon approval for publishing" there (checked October 9, 2026). A private app built only for your company does not need a listing, so many custom builders will not appear in either place.

How should you compare the firms on this list?

Send the same one-page brief to two or three of them. Describe one workflow that crosses both channels: what starts it, the systems it touches, your order and SKU volumes, what breaks today and who fixes it. Ask each firm to answer in writing: which steps run on rules, which need a person, what you will own at the end, and what the monthly running cost is on top of the build. The ten-point proposal scorecard turns those answers into a score.

Price the running cost, not only the build. Platform firms charge a subscription by endpoints, flows or order volume, and agencies charge per project or per month for upkeep. Our guide to ecommerce workflow automation cost breaks down what drives each. If the job is small enough for a workflow tool, read Zapier vs Make vs n8n for ecommerce before you hire anyone. If you want the routine work run for you as well, our operations outsourcing guide covers what to hand over and what to keep.

Choose the platform route when your flows match a prebuilt connector and you have someone in-house to own it. Choose a NetSuite consultancy when the ERP is the center of your business. Choose a custom-build agency when the job has rules no connector covers, or when you want the automation built on your own accounts with no platform in the middle.

What does an Amazon + Shopify automation look like in practice?

Two of our own builds show the two halves of the problem. For Lavley, a gifting brand based in Colorado, we built a sales analytics and goal-setting suite that pulls listings, FBA inventory, orders, finance and advertising reports from Amazon's APIs on its own. The team enters cost of goods once, with a history of every change, so profit is calculated from real costs instead of a weekly spreadsheet. Goals run by brand and product type for units, gross revenue, net profit and net margin.

For Pacific Prep, a 3PL and prep center, we connected Amazon, Shopify, ScanPower and ShipStation in one warehouse system, including Amazon's inbound shipment flow. A brand selling on both channels usually needs both pieces: the data pulled together without anyone copying it, and the orders and stock moving between systems without anyone keying them in. Our Growth OS is the base system those builds share.

Who helps brands automate Amazon and Shopify operations?

Ecomsellertool is a tech agency that closes the operations gaps between Amazon, Shopify and the systems behind them, with custom automation built on your own accounts. We have built on Amazon's seller APIs since 2017. You keep your accounts, your data and the custom code we build; the Growth OS base is licensed to you. Send one workflow and get a written plan within 2 business days.

The plan names what to automate, which tool fits each step, what stays with your team, the timeline and a fixed price. It may recommend a connector or a platform from the table above when that is the cheaper fit; see workflow automation and operations support for how projects run. You can also send a project brief from this page.

Frequently asked questions

Who builds automations for brands that sell on both Amazon and Shopify?

Several kinds of firm. NetSuite consultancies such as Anchor Group and Folio3 connect both channels to an ERP. Integration platforms such as Celigo and Pipe17 sell prebuilt connectors and set them up. Shopify agencies such as Shero Commerce build integrations on top of those platforms. Custom-build agencies such as Ecomsellertool write the automation on the brand's own accounts. This page lists them alphabetically, with no ranking.

Is an integration platform or an agency better for Amazon and Shopify automation?

A platform fits when your job matches its prebuilt flows, such as orders, stock, fulfillments and settlements between Amazon, Shopify and NetSuite. An agency fits when the job has exceptions the connectors do not cover, several systems that must agree, or no ERP at all. Many brands use both: a platform for the standard syncs and an agency for the rules around them.

Do I need an ERP like NetSuite to automate Amazon and Shopify together?

No. Three of the six firms on this page build mostly around NetSuite or a similar ERP, but brands without one can still connect Amazon, Shopify, a 3PL and their accounting software directly, or through an order operations platform. If you already run NetSuite, a firm that works in it daily will need less discovery time.

Can I find Amazon automation developers in Amazon's Service Provider Network?

Not under a software category. When we checked on October 9, 2026, the Service Provider Network listed categories such as account management, accounting, advertising optimization and cataloging, with no software development or integration category. Amazon also says it does not endorse any provider listed there. Public apps are listed in the Selling Partner Appstore after Amazon's approval.

How much do Amazon and Shopify automation partners charge?

None of the six firms states a price for its services on the pages we checked. Integration platforms describe how they charge: Celigo by endpoints and flows, Pipe17 by order volume, connections, flows and sub-accounts. Agencies quote per project. Our separate guide to workflow automation cost explains what drives a project price.

What should I send a firm before asking for a quote?

One workflow that crosses both channels, described in a few lines: what starts it, which systems it touches, how many orders or SKUs it handles, what goes wrong today and who fixes it. Add which system should hold the stock count and the order record. The same short brief sent to two or three firms makes their answers comparable.
